Archbishops’ Council: Lay members elected

The House of Laity of the General Synod has elected the following members to serve on the Archbishops’ Council for a term of five years.

 

Mr Paul Boyd-Lee (Salisbury diocese)

 

Mrs Christina Rees (St Albans diocese)

 

This completes the elections from the House of Laity to the Archbishops’ Council.

 

Note

 

The Chair and Vice-Chair of the House of Laity of the General Synod become ex-officio members of the Archbishops’ Council. The result of this election was published in November. They are:

 

Chair: Dr Christina Baxter (Southwell diocese)

 

Vice Chair: Mr Philip Giddings (Oxford diocese)
