Reader Education Panel

The Reader Education Panel monitors the development of initial and continuing Reader training across the dioceses and contributes towards the formation of national policy for Reader training. It oversees and supports the work of the National Moderator for Reader Training. In this work it seeks to ensure good standards within Reader training in all the dioceses by a system of inter-diocesan moderation of training in regional teams. The system of moderation results in a detailed report on training being made to each individual diosceses every five years. It is then up to individual diosceses to act on the report and so develop Reader training in line with national standards.
