General Synod’s July agenda is likely to feature a number of high profile debates, as well as a Presidential Address by the Archbishop of Canterbury. A substantial slot will be devoted to deciding whether or not to take the first steps towards the consecration of women bishops.
The agenda will also include the implementation of the new Clergy Discipline Measure and a range of financial business.
Synod will sit, in York, from July 8th to July 12th. When published, the full agenda will appear on the Church of England website
