Further Marriage After Divorce

In January 2000, a working party of the House of Bishops issued a sequel about further marriages after divorce. One key feature for all those who have been divorced, but wish to remarry in church, are its proposed guidelines as to the circumstances when this might happen. It is an attempt to obtain general alignment whilst recognising that to marry or not to marry remains the prerogative of the parish priest. See Marriage in Church After Divorce for fuller information.
