Marriage & Family Issues

Statistics about marriage, family life and family breakdown, reinforced by people's own pastoral experience demonstrate the rate of social change. Changing patterns and the uncertainty they generate mean that the Church's ministry has to adapt to the diversity of Britain's households. The Church is also called to witness to the gospel by responding to wider social policy issues affecting families today. It is crucial that the Church engages with the questions of how to best help families flourish and care for their members. The areas on which the Church nationally has offered contributions to some of these questions are listed here.
