What about pensions?

While you hold a full-time appointment within the diocesan structure, your service is pensionable, under the Church of England Funded Pensions Scheme. The scheme is non-contributory for members and is funded from contributions paid on your behalf.

Full details of the pension scheme and retirement housing provisions are available from the Church of England Pensions Board.

If you should take up an appointment outside the diocesan structure, you should write direct to the Pensions Board, to find out whether your new job is pensionable under one of the Church schemes.
