Car Loan Application Checklist

Is the car secondhand?
If so, a Vehicle History Inspection Report (or HPI check) must be included with the application.

Is the car over 4 years old?
If so, an Independent Engineer's report must be enclosed with the application.

Do you have an existing car loan?
If so,

  • a new loan will only be granted if the current loan has been running for two years or more?
  • have you included the outstanding balance of the existing loan on the form?
