The General Circulation

Every month, the Adviser sends to all diocesan bishops and other major patrons a General Circulation containing confidential papers about those who are available for and seeking new appointments. References from the bishop and the referees nominated are taken up and held in the office, being made available on request to those who are considering offering an appointment.

The Adviser is able to offer Deacons, Deaconesses and Accredited Lay Workers the same facilities as are offered to priests. Those seeking the Adviser's help must have completed or be about to complete a first placement of three years. There is no other way in which a man or woman's availability can be made as widely known.
