The Post
The post was set up by the Archbishop of Canterbury, George Carey, in 2001 and funded by the Lambeth Partnership for five years. The post ceased in May 2006 and the report reviewing the work undertaken can be read here.
The post was based in the Mission and Public Affairs division in Church House and Margaret worked closely with the National Mission and Evangelism Adviser, Paul Bayes, the National Children's Adviser Mary Hawes, and the Director of Fresh Expressions, Steven Croft.
Margaret is now working with the Bible Reading Fellowship and you can read about her new work here.
In the time she was at her post, her area of work covered Key Area 2 and Key Area 4 as set out in the Church of England Strategy for Children.
