Abbey Hey St George
Abbey Hey St George is located on Abbey Hey Lane, between Ashton Old Road and Hyde Road, in a predominantly residential area, close to Wright Robinson College, and about 3 miles east of the centre of Manchester. The building comprises the former St George's Parish Church, built about 1907 and now surplus to requirements. It is of brick with terracotta embellishments under a slate roof, and to the rear of the building is the site of the former parish hall.
