Church Buildings (Uses and Disposals) Committee

The Church Buildings (Uses and Disposals) Committee (formerly the Redundant Churches Committee) oversees the work of the Division carrying out the Commissioners' functions under Part III of the Pastoral Measure, securing suitable alternative uses where possible.

Among its tasks it considers any representations against proposals for the future of a closed church building and decides what should happen if a use cannot be found.
