The Closed Churches Division assists the Commissioners' Church Buildings (Uses and Disposals) Committee in settling the future of churches closed for regular public worship. Normally a suitable alternative will be sought but if not found the remaining outcomes are either preservation or demolition.
The Committee also adjudicates on representations made regarding particular proposals. You can learn more about the procedure for making representations by clicking here.
