Tell us what you think about our website
Pastoral Division deals principally with pastoral reorganisation, parsonage and glebe matters. This page sets out our main objectives and gives advice on how to use our web pages.
Our main objectives are:
Our delivery of these objectives is overseen by the Pastoral Committee which receives regular progress reports on all aspects of the Division's work and, subject to rules of delegation laid down by the Commissioners' Board of Governors, deals on the Commissioners' behalf with representations made with respect to pastoral schemes and orders and parsonage house and glebe transactions.
The documents on these web pages cover legislation, codes and other relevant information relating to pastoral reorganisation, clergy housing and diocesan glebe. We hope they will provide a valuable source of reference for those serving in the Church of England and for members of the public with an interest in the administration of the Church of England.
